150g plain flour
1tsp ...Soft-Baked Current Cookies.<br />150g plain flour<br />1tsp baking powder<br />50g ground almonds<br />75g Demerara sugar<br />150g unsalted butter diced<br />1 med egg<br />1 tsp milk<br />100g currents<br />50g choc chips <br />50g flaked almonds<br />Icing sugar for dusting<br />1. Preheat oven 190c/170c fan/gas 5 and butter a couple of baking sheets. Sift the flour and baking powder into a bowl of a processor, add the ground almonds, the sugar and butter and whiz to fine bread crumbs. Then add the egg and milk. Transfer the mixture into a large bowl and fold in currents and choc chips.<br />2. Drop half-tablespoon of the mixture onto the baking sheets. Space well apart and then a pinch of flaked almond on each one. <br />3. Bake for 18-21 minute’s. Yummy J <br /> IN case anyone wants a go at making these Cookies I find this an easy Recipe. Ps Add a little tiny more milk if needed. Lovely garden, wow what a hand you h...Blessings....<br />Lovely garden, wow what a hand you have. It hasn't been very cold here and not much snow, at least no in Toronto. Today though its nippy and the breeze has a bite to it. There was a little snow yesterday but today there is little remance of it.<br /><br />hmmmm, do you know i have never baked cookies from scratch?
