Bright and Sunny

With a hard Frost last night , it was Lovely to see a clear blue sky for a change. The garden looks so pretty , and with a layer of ice on the Pond .
The most relaxing place to be to get away from the hustle and the bustle. I should sell tickets LOL .
Christmas is just around the corner , and I'm thinking of that roast Turkey already with all it's trimmings. My Birthday just recently gone I enjoyed a few long chat's with my family. Another year older my oh my doesn't time fly.
Most of all I was happy to hear my Brother  is feeling a lot better , after a nasty bout of Shingles. Poor soul he has suffered badly for 3 months, I didn't realise it went on so Long.
So it was good to hear him having a little Laugh again.

Off to the Kitchen on this lovely cold chilly afternoon , to gaze across the Moors (Dartmoor)
While I rustle up a hot meal to pop in the Oven , consisting of Chicken Skinned breast's and Butter beans, Tinned Tomatoes....Yum.

Wishing you well and Good health

  1. Great photos! We had a really hard frost last night as well. Everything was so white this morning for a second I thought it had snowed! But no such luck.

Glad to hear your brother is feeling better. I've heard shingles is very painful! Hope you're having a good week so far.

  3. I have been out of the loop Sheila, I didn't realize you'd blogged on this site too, you must be feeling better and I'm glad of it.
Yes the skies are very blue and the stars are so bright when it's frosty, you could almost feel you could touch them I actually could count the seven sisters in the night sky, But taking Ruby out is a bit of a chore, cruelty to humans I say. I'm not so sure she likes it either, but it's got to be done.
I understand that if you've had |Chicken ox as a child you get Shingles as an adult and it's very painful, I bet he too is glad it's improving. Your dinner sounds good. I'm trying to keep the weight under control so I can feast my fill at Christmas, it's not easy. Keep well love and hugs to all specially Lucy.

  5. I can sympathize with your brother - shingles is very painful and I thought it would never end when I had it.
Frost is one of my favourite signs of winter.

  6. So sorry about your brother. I'm thinking shingles are in my future based on my history.

  7. Thanks so much for dropping by and commenting on our life changes.
Yes, we were very lucky in how quickly our house sold but that is the market in Toronto, nothing stays on the market for more than a couple of weeks.
Canada has managed not to get itself into a mess with the housing market.
