These wild flowers by my smaller pond have brought a welcome visitor. The Bee I was so pleased , as they are having such a tuff time of it at the moment. When they emerge from their hide away they need to feed within in a few hours ..It has been a slow flowering year so far and most of my Daffodills are at least a month late. So a little sunshine was a warm welcome to not only to me but our poor little Bumblebees.
Enjoy Week Ahead.
I know what you mean -- strange to have the daffs so late this year. Beautiful images!
ReplyDeleteYour flowers are gorgeous!! xx
ReplyDeleteLovely blooms! I'm glad you have some flowers blooming finally :)
ReplyDeleteJust wanted to answer your question you left on my blog - We got Duchess from a goat farm and it was clear that she had been neglected. I don't think she was ever physically abused, but she didn't get much human interaction or care. So I guess you could say we rescued her :)
ReplyDeleteYou can read more about her story here if you want -

ReplyDeleteYour flowers are beautiful and glad they finally bloomed out!
ReplyDeleteHi there Sheila, I'm on a walkabout around Blogspot. Such lovely blooms and garden photo's... I've been meaning to look online for a Bee Hotel, to hang in the garden, apparently it enables the little ones to rest up in safety and then continue on their way. I think I saw one for sale on a TV shopping Channel.. We've just had a pour down, and now it's just looking a bit 'sulky' outside. Hope you and Li'l Lucy are dry and safe, have a wonderful weekend hugs aplenty.. xPenx
ReplyDeleteHi there, Sheila - thank you for coming by my blog and leaving a comment and becoming a follower! I appreciate it very much. Your flowers are beautiful. I see from the info on your sidebar that you live in Cornwall...such a beautiful area of England! I have friends in southwest England (Bristol).
ReplyDeleteI love the photos Sheila, everything is late this year :( If I don't get started planting out my pots soon I will have a very bare garden this year!! Love those daffodils, they are one of my favourite flowers :) xx
ReplyDeleteIn another part of the garden by the Fir trees the Daffodils are still in Bloom..The Firs are keeping them from the heavy rain and drier.....:) xx
